I was 8 when I had my first real crush on a boy.

I was 16 when I finally accepted my sexuality and started calling myself bisexual.

It's been a couple years now since that day, but I've never loved myself as bi as I do today. <3

I opened tumblr today expecting something strange. You know, like you always do. That's kind of Tumblr's thing.

Still, I was kind of hoping for a little bit of an active theme. It was, after all, the Celebrate Bisexuality day, and despite me not being confirmed bisexual, I felt (and still feel) an affinity for the bisexual population, due to their day of celebration falling on my birthday. As such, I was hoping to see some bisexual love on the hellsite today. Maybe we'd get some "Happy Dogs in Politics Day!" posts that I could reblog and continue past.

What I saw, I consider unforgivable. Instead of bi love posts, I came across a wall of sneef snorfs, taunting me with their longish noses and New Yorker speech. Scandalized, I scrolled down, hoping for some solace, only to face an even higher density of sneef snorfs, snorfing their way across my dashboard.

Unbelievable. There was nothing I could do but watch as the sneef snorfs sniffed and snaffed their snoses and scuttled in their little GIF cages. I was incensed, but ultimately powerless to the combined might of the sneef snorfs' assault.

I wrote this message as a warning to anyone who dares to finish reading this obnoxious wall of text: may none of you ever forget the tragedy that befell this site of September 23rd.

Happy bisexual awareness day, I recommend celebrating by picking a bisexual, any bisexual, (can be me if you don't have any other options), and just be hyper-aware of their existence. Not even their bisexuality specifically, just their existence. Bonus points if you don't have any strong emotions towards said existence, just mildly disturbed by it (NOT in a biphobic way, just in general).
